Print. Digital. Motion.

With over 10 years of multidisciplinary design experience, I bring a deep understanding of both traditional and digital mediums. I’m well-versed in the principles of typography, color theory, layout systems, and the intricacies of prepress and print production. At the same time, I stay current with evolving digital standards, responsive design frameworks, WordPress development and platform-specific best practices across web and social media.

I approach every project with the belief that strong design isn’t just visually compelling—it’s strategically crafted to perform, communicate, and convert.

VISION & EXECUTION
The right direction makes the campaign and no design no matter how great can save a bad one. A great philosophy I learned from my graphic design mentor was “so what?” any campaign should be able to answer this.
LEADERSHIP
We go furthest when we go together, and we accomplish so much more than when we go alone. I like leading creative teams because I like seeing people reach beyond their potential to a place they didn’t know they had.
PASSION & DRIVE
When I graduated college I didn’t have an art-school pedigree. So I worked my way into the design and marketing world through the back door. Pre-press to Creative Director and every role in between.

Here’s Why You Should Interview Me:

The Professional Who Sees the Whole Picture

My career has been built on two things: technical precision and real-world adaptability.

I cut my teeth in prepress, learning early on that a design is only as good as its final, physical execution. That foundation allowed me to grow a freelance side-hustle into a downtown boutique agency. But I’ll be honest: while I loved building campaigns for dozens of clients, I never fell in love with ‘being an entrepreneur.’ I fell in love with the work—the strategy, the design, and the results.

When the pandemic hit, my priorities shifted. To support my two sons on the Autism spectrum through a complex transition back to school, I stepped back from agency ownership. I spent that time freelancing, consulting, and—most importantly—learning a new level of patience and problem-solving as a teacher and therapist for my boys.

Now that they are thriving in school, I’m ready to return to a team environment. I’m bringing with me the perspective of a former business owner, the technical ‘fail-safe’ mindset of a prepress pro, and a deep portfolio of work that actually performs. I’m not looking to run the company; I’m looking to make yours look better than it ever has.

My Background Helps Your Organization

I’ve spent my career bridging the gap between ‘it looks good’ and ‘it actually works.’

Starting in prepress gave me a grounded perspective on execution—I learned early on that if a design can’t be produced flawlessly, it fails the client. Building a boutique agency from a Northeast KC apartment to a downtown office taught me the rest: the grit, the humility, and the value of every marketing dollar.

I don’t just design for the screen or the press; I design with the perspective of a business owner who understands ROI. After thousands of projects across nearly every industry, I’ve developed the foresight to see pitfalls before they happen. My goal is simple: to use my experience to solve your problems and make your team look exceptional.

A Diverse Portfolio, Comfortable in Any Medium

The wide variety of clients and work I have done in my career means I am comfortable designing for all print and digital applications. This not only means I can create or lead a team in designing something visually stunning, but also make sure it gets delivered to the producer already ready to go.
